This account was created to share some of the work that the US Public Affairs team does on a daily basis to help people achieve healthy skin in the United States.  

LEO Pharma, Inc. Public Affairs works tirelessly to ensure that the voices of our patients, employees, and company are heard in the halls of Congress, state capitals, and by all policymakers across the country.  

We are at the forefront of the medical dermatology field. LEO is committed to raising the voice of patients and improving the detection and treatment of people with skin diseases. We continuously examine a wide variety of domestic and global policy issues that impact patient care and patient access, and collaborate and partner with patient advocacy organizations whenever possible.   


LEO Pharma US would like to lay out its community guidelines for engagement: 

  1. @LEOPharmaUS is an advocacy-focused Twitter account owned by LEO Pharma Inc., the U.S. affiliate of LEO Pharma A/S. This platform is managed by Manan Shah, Director of US Public Affairs at LEO Pharma Inc. 

  1. @LEOPharmaUS will not discuss any products or brands, nor will it discuss treatment options or offer any medical advice. Please contact a healthcare professional for any inquiries relating to disease-specific treatments.  

  1. @LEOPharmaUS won’t reply to every tweet/mention, but our replies will always be in a timely manner. 

  1. @LEOPharmaUS is intended for audiences in the United States only. If you are outside the scope of the United States, please visit one of our affiliates’ Twitter accounts. 

  1. @LEOPharmaUS will share external links, however LEO does not own, sponsor, or endorse the external links. The views of the authors should not be interpreted as those of LEO.
