Corporate Compliance

LEO Pharma is committed to establishing and maintaining an effective corporate compliance program that promotes ethical conduct and compliance with applicable federal and state laws.  The LEO Compliance Program conforms with the principles and recommendations published in the "Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers" developed by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General ("OIG") and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (“PhRMA”) “Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals.”  

 

Declaration of Compliance

California:

Based on its good faith understanding of the California requirements, we reaffirm as of July 1, 2023, that LEO declares that to the best of its knowledge, information, and belief it is in compliance with its Compliance Program and the California Health & Safety Code §§ 119400-119402.

LEO also declares that the structure of its Compliance Program and the guidelines enunciated in LEO policies regarding applicable interactions with medical or health professionals, incorporate the principles articulated in the OIG Guidance and the updated PhRMA Code effective January 2009 as subsequently revised.

LEO has developed and implemented elements of its Compliance Program to address certain unique issues raised by the California law and will continue to refine these compliance elements as necessary. As appropriate and in accordance with the law, LEO will amend and update its policies, guidelines, and procedures and this statement to assure compliance.
